In August 2017, the Atlanta Falcons opened the doors to their crown jewel, Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Falcons owner Arthur Blank set out to provide the best fan experience possible, with innovative changes to their food and beverage system already establishing the stadium as one of the NFL’s best.
Guests now have dozens of options to choose from, including many local favorites. Restaurants such as Delia’s Chicken Sausage or Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q serve their signature items at stands scattered around the concourses. Molly B’s, which is named after Blank’s mother, is a southern-style chophouse located near Section 133. There, you can enjoy dishes inspired by Molly’s recipes, along with a panoramic view of the field. To wash it down, local breweries like Terrapin Beer Co. and Jekyll Brewing serve craft beers they are famous for, such as Terrapin’s “Sound Czech” or Jekyll’s “Pineapple Habanero Hop Dang Diggity.” This wide variety of Atlanta establishments will let On Location fans receive an authentic taste of the town.
Fans looking for classic stadium fare have plenty of options as well. Mercedes-Benz Stadium uses a “Fan First” approach, which focuses on improved value and quick service at concession areas. The Fan First Menu offers quality gameday food at reasonable prices, no matter the event. To reduce wait times at concession stands, Mercedes-Benz Stadium has 673 points of sales, a 65 percent increase from the Georgia Dome. Fans can take advantage of self-service soda machines by purchasing a Coca-Cola Refillable Cup. With Fan First, guests are guaranteed to receive great value for their money without the worry of missing any of the game!
At Super Bowl LIII, Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s huge variety, dedication to value, and convenience in food and beverage will elevate each On Location guest’s gameday experience. With a southern comfort flair there is so much more to taste in Atlanta this year! Join us at Super Bowl LIII to experience this exciting new stadium and rich culinary culture.
