History was made when the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams squared off in London as part of the NFL International Series. The contest was the first NFL game ever played at Twickenham stadium in London. For On Location guests, a game at the long time rugby venue was an experience to remember on top of a weekend that included a boat tour on the Thames and exploring all London has to offer.
On the field, the Giants defense was active throughout the game, picking off Rams quarterback Case Keenum four times. The Rams were able to keep it close but weren’t able to recover from countless turnovers, ultimately suffering a 17-10 loss and dropping to 3-4 on the season.
The most impressive points of the game occurred when second year Giants safety Landon Collins took an interception back 44 yards in the other direction for a much needed touchdown. The former high-school running back showed exactly why he was once entrusted with outmaneuvering defenders downfield.
During a ride on the London Eye, special guest Orlando Pace showed up to chat with On Location guests to answer questions during an exclusive Q&A.
London has become our new favorite town — and with football to boot, we see no reason to come home.
