Super Bowl LIV delivered for thousands of football fans in Miami, with the Kansas City Chiefs completing a historic run to their first title in 50 years thanks to their comeback win over a fantastic San Francisco 49ers team. On Location Experiences was there for it all, giving its guests the Ultimate Super Bowl Experience from start-to-finish.
Football fans that came to Miami woke up Sunday to a perfect day with the sun shining bright and temperatures in the 70’s. When they arrived at Hard Rock Stadium and their pregame parties started, the energy was palpable and smiles could be seen all over as soon as they walked into the incredible spaces.
Just steps away from the stadium, fans were treated to four all-inclusive parties complete with food from some of Miami’s award-winning restaurants, a wide-ranging selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, live entertainment, photo ops, games and more leading up to the big event. Guests at the Legends, 54 LIVE and Touchdown Club events were treated to appearances by some of the greatest players in the history of the National Football League, including Dan Marino, Lawrence Taylor, Eric Dickerson, Derrick Brooks, Steve Largent, Jonathan Ogden, Anthony Munoz, Rod Woodson and more. These NFL legends interacted with guests, made pregame predictions and talked about being members of the NFL’s all-time team. Additionally, party hosts Marcus Allen, Adam Schefter and Joe Theismann were fantastic and headliner Darius Rucker gave a memorable performance at 54 LIVE and Legends.
At the 72 Club within Hard Rock Stadium, our On the Fifty guests experienced an ultra-premium pregame party with exceptional food and beverage, an intimate set from Rucker, NFL Legend appearances, cigar rolling, rum tasting, a display of the 53 Super Bowl rings and more.
Once the parties ended and fans headed to their seats, the action continued through the evening. In honor of the NFL’s 100th season, an incredible collection of the top-100 players and coaches in NFL history was featured, followed by a memorable National Anthem sung by superstar Demi Lovato.
After the two teams headed into halftime tied at 10, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez brought down the house with one of the most energetic and raved-about halftime shows in Super Bowl history, setting the stage for a fantastic second half of football on the Hard Rock Stadium field.
The 49ers opened a 20-10 lead with 10 unanswered points to open the second half, but the resilient and confident Chiefs stormed back with 21 unanswered fourth-quarter points behind MVP Patrick Mahomes, running back Damien Williams and a stout defense to win Super Bowl LIV. When the clock hit 0:00, yellow and red confetti filled the air and the large contingent of Chiefs fans in the building went wild in celebration of their first Lombardi trophy since Super Bowl IV in 1970.
Following the trophy presentation, On Location was able to provide some of its guests the chance to take part in a confetti-filled celebration on the field. Fans made confetti angels, posed for photos and basked in the glory of the what truly was the Ultimate Super Bowl Experience.
