On Location Featured In Bloomberg

For the first time ever, NFL On Location Experiences — in partnership with the NFL — is making Super Bowl tickets available straight to fans.

As our CEO John Collins said, “Now you have certainty that what you’re buying is what you’re getting, right down to the seat location.”

Until today, tickets for the Super Bowl were initially distributed through individual NFL teams. Once those tickets are sold out, fans turned to secondary markets where tickets are often sold “on spec,” meaning the brokers don’t actually have the tickets but believes they will be able to secure them.

In 2015, demand was so high that the market actually collapsed because brokers selling on spec were unable to fulfill orders. Fans across the country didn’t receive the tickets they thought they had purchased and many brokers faced lawsuits driving them out of business.

NFL On Location is disrupting this model and is very pleased to offer its fans transparency and authenticity when they’re securing their Super Bowl LI weekend experience.
