Twice the Action

Twice the Action

After an exciting first round Thursday night, day two of the 2017 NFL Draft had plenty to live up to. With more names coming off the board as teams strategically fill their rosters, fans enjoyed twice the action as the previous evening.

Our guests started their day with a chance to stand in the commissioner’s shoes. On Location Insiders were given the ultimate access to the official Draft stage, where they stood behind the podium, smiled for the cameras, and witnessed behind the scenes action.

After stepping out of the lime light, our VIP members explored the grounds along Benjamin Franklin Parkway at the NFL Draft Experience presented by Dannon® Oikos® Triple Zero. As the largest football festival the NFL has ever created, the Experience space spanned the size of nearly 25 football fields. Fans of all ages had the choice to enjoy interactive games including the vertical jump or racing Denver Broncos’ wide out, Demaryius Thomas, in the 40-yard dash. Additional options included virtual reality experiences, free player autographs, zip-lines, and NFL team exhibits.

Prior to the 33rd pick, On Location members enjoyed an unforgettable Red Carpet Experience. Contrary to the first round, our guests were able to walk the Red Carpet, enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a unique opportunity to meet with NFL Legends. Signing autographs, sharing stories, and taking pictures, our guests were hanging out with Mike Alstott, Joe Klecko, Robert Mathis, Anthony Munos, John Randle and Thurman Thomas to name a few.

When it came time to begin the second round, guests took their seats at the front of the theater – high-fiving commissioner Rodger Goodell and Philadelphia Eagles Legend, Ron Jaworski, as they made their way to the stage. Throughout the night they cheered loud and proud for their teams, even appearing on the large LED screens as the the biggest fans in the room.
